Job Responsibilities
• Analysis & Documentation of user requirements and transpose into Functional Specifications and Risk requirements
• Key liaison with Front Office user base and the primary interface between Business and IT with respect to Murex
• Validation of user requirements with the vendor
• Configure the application as part of the implementation
• Assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for all test phases of a project
• Perform System Testing & assist with UAT
• Assist with data migration exercises from an existing application to Murex
• Follow up with vendor support as and when necessary to resolve bugs, issues
• Design & Build on-screen/ad-hoc reports requested by users
• Act as the subject matter expert for the Murex suite of tools used within the Front Office and ensure that all functionality of the product is installed and leveraged to its best capability within the group
• Contribute to the User Training activities, through one-to-one discussion, preparation of user training guides & presentations
Skills Must have
Mandatory skills / desired experience :
• Good exposure to commodities and FO risk knowledge.
• FO Modules of Murex – E-Tradepad, Simulation, Viewers, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, Risk Matrices. Configuring and Analyzing the Views and risk position
• Implementation / Migration knowledge in Murex
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied by excellent communication
• Sound knowledge of Commodities and Commodity Trading with respect to Metals and Oil & Gas
• Also a good understanding of any of the following asset classes such as Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX Cash, FX Derivatives, Structured Derivatives
• FRM
• Understanding of Murex Data Model
• Knowledge of SQL and basic Unix will be an add-on
