SEAGATE Hiring About the role – you will:

• Focus on developing Machine Learning model for defects detection and defect pattern classification using images collected from equipment.
• The inference result will provide feedback to equipment for defective parts removal and the classification results will be used for root cause analysis
• Work with our Data Scientist and Data Engineers to develop solutions based on machine learning methods, to enable live inferencing by integrating the inference pipeline with factory system.
• The inferencing will either be hosted in Data Center or at the Edge (near to or on equipment)
• Have the chance to drive meaningful impact at Seagate by designing, building, tuning, and deploying machine learning models that help uncover opportunities to reduce operational cost and improve product quality
   

SEAGATE Hiring About you:

• A highly passionate about data science and want to apply AI/machine learning/deep learning techniques to solve real-word problems
• Self-motivated, independent and a team player with strong analytical skills 
   

Your experience includes:

• Good at Python programming 
• Familiarity with AI Machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries
